Other duties as assigned. Complies with healthcare, federal, state, and local rules and regulations. Performs building repairs. Identifies proper tools for tasks and consults with appropriate personnel, as needed. Ensures materials are readily available. Completes preventive maintenance tasks and work orders in a timely manner and according to protocol. Utilizes and completes computer-based work order software with demonstrated knowledge. Visits assigned areas daily to solicit customer feedback. Conducts walkthroughs in assigned areas to observe and correct repairs. Uses proper safety procedures, including lockout/tag out personal protective equipment per policy.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Working knowledge of building systems, i.e., chillers, boilers, building automation, HVAC, fire alarm, etc. [Required]
- Able to communicate in English. [Required]
- Basic computer skills required. [Required]
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents. [Required]
- General knowledge of one of the following maintenance areas: Air conditioning, Plumbing, Electrical, fire alarm system, tube system, telephones, paging system, and the power plant systems. [Required]
- Knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing within the Healthcare field [Preferred]
- Knowledge of safe handling and maintenance of tools and equipment [Preferred]
- Basic Microsoft Office computer skills [Preferred]
Education:
- High School/Equivalent grad OR 5+ years experience [Required]

- 3+ general maintenance experience [Required]
