Job Description We are excited to announce an opening for an HVAC Controls Sales Engineer in the Tampa market. The position will focus on developing new and existing accounts in the industrial and commercial sectors. The ideal candidate is a hands-on, self-motivated, outgoing, and dependable individual with the drive to succeed in a challenging and fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Aggressively develop new customers and new market channels Meet with current customers to review potential controls opportunities Perform site surveys, estimate, prepare, and propose consultative sales proposals Maintain customer activity and documentation in CRM software (SalesForce) Meet company revenue and gross profit dollar goals Qualifications Vocational School four-year program or an Associate degree in mechanical systems, computer technology, air conditioning, or a similar field 5+ years of sales experience in the electronic and/or mechanical systems industry Knowledge of HVAC controls systems, facilities management systems, and peripheral equipment installation and servicing techniques Ability to explain technical information to both technical and non-technical individuals Understanding of financial sales impact, including cash flow, pay-back, ROI, leasing vs. purchase, etc. Excellent presentation skills with a strong focus on customer pain points and buying motives Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation package, including bonus incentive program Comprehensive benefits package, including employer-paid health insurance (no employee contribution toward premiums) 401(k) with company match and profit sharing Excellent working environment Various employee and family events
