Job Description

A Mechanical HVAC Design Engineer responsible for supporting the planning, design, and documentation of HVAC systems for a variety of building projects. This individual will collaborate with internal project teams and client representatives to define requirements, develop code-compliant mechanical designs, and assist with construction-phase reviews.
Required:
B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering EIT (preferred) 2-4 years of HVAC design experience for educational, commercial and/or municipal projects. Revit proficiency Excellent communication skills.
Job Responsibilities:
Meeting with clients' representatives to establish project requirements and preferences. Designing and analyzing HVAC systems, and verifying that designs comply with local and national codes and company standards. Conduct predesign site visits to survey existing conditions, prepare preliminary drawings, and obtain necessary approvals. Develop contract documents (calculations, design drawings, schematics, and details) for construction and will review submittals to verify conformance with those documents. As the experience level grows, conducting site observations to verify conformance with contract documents and building codes. Additional duties may include the design of plumbing and fire safety systems.
Salary:
