Job Description

Overview We are seeking an Instrumentation & Controls Engineer with 5+ years of experience in industrial controls design to support semiconductor manufacturing projects. This role will act as the technical owner for instrumentation and controls during tool installation, ensuring systems meet design, safety, and code requirements in a high-tech environment.
Pay:
$50.48- $62.50 per hour DOE Key Responsibilities Provide engineering oversight for instrumentation and controls during tool installation Review designs for control systems, fire alarm, chemical systems, and toxic gas monitoring (TGM) Develop and review technical specifications and vendor submittals Ensure compliance with IFC, IMC, UL, and IEEE standards Collaborate with construction teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders Support project execution in a fast-paced semiconductor environment Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related ABET-accredited field 5+ years of experience in industrial controls or instrumentation engineering Strong knowledge of IFC, IMC, UL, and IEEE standards Experience specifying and reviewing control systems and equipment Strong communication and collaboration skills Preferred EIT or PE license 2+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing or cleanroom environments Field experience working with subcontractors or construction teams Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, or similar tools #ElectricalEngineer #ControlsEngineer #Instrumentation #Semiconductor #EngineeringJobs #IndustrialAutomation #PLC #AdvancedManufacturing #EngineeringCareers #BoiseJobs #Cleanroom #FacilitiesEngineering #TechJobs #LI-JT1
