Job Description

The Facilities Automation Engineer Provides engineering support across the business with primary focus on automation engineering. This individual will have a direct impact on future investments made in automation and the success of those projects. Unfortunately, no job sponsorship is available Tasks & Responsibilities Coordinates any Automation engineering related activity at all locations, in conjunction with operational leadership and applicable safety requirements. Supports capital assessment and implementation with both internal and external partners. Interacts with vendors to accomplish product selection, and engineering review and solution procurement. Collaborates with facilitates project management to ensure quality delivery. Applies lean thinking and tools to eliminate waste in all areas of the position. Requirements Profile Bachelor's degree in engineering and professional engineering certification. Degree can be in any of the disciplines - architecture, mechanical, civil, structural, or electrical. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks. Preferred Requirements Robotics and automated material handling systems Conveyor, AS/RS(Automated Storage & Retrieval Systems), or other warehouse automation technologies. Controls experience Experience with AB and Seimens Integration of automation with IT/OT systems (networking, MES, data simulation tools such as Flexsim (e.g. for layouts or process modeling) Data analysis tools (basic SQL, Python, or advanced Excel for system performance). Role Specifics Travel - Up to 60% overnight travel for company meetings, trainings, and project responsibilities. Must have ability to travel independently as needed, without restriction by all modes of transportation, including car, plane, or train. #RTS6548
