Job Description
What Application Development & Maintenance contributes to Cardinal Health Information Technology oversees the effective development, delivery, and operation of computing and information services. This function anticipates, plans, and delivers Information Technology solutions and strategies that enable operations and drive business value. Application Development & Maintenance performs configuration or coding to develop, enhance and sustain the organization's software systems in a cross-functional team environment through adherence to established design control processes and good engineering practices. This job family programs and configures end user applications, systems, databases and websites to achieve the organization's internal needs and externally-facing business needs. Application Development & Maintenance partners with business leaders, investigates user needs and conducts regular assessments, maintenance and enhancements of existing applications. Responsibilities Act as a core technical contributor for the PMO Tools Team Execute Enterprise SaaS configuration and administration, supporting the maintenance and enhancement of portfolio management platforms Build, configure, and support multi-system integrations and scalable business automations Develop and maintain data pipelines, complex reporting solutions, and backend database structures to support PMO applications Support requirements gathering efforts by partnering with senior team members to translate defined cross-functional business needs into technical configurations, and assist in the technical onboarding of external teams into Planview Champion a collaborative, agile mindset, actively managing and pulling tasks from a shared backlog Troubleshoot complex technical issues and deliver both short- and long-term solutions Qualifications 4-8 years of experience in enterprise application development, system integration, or SaaS configuration, preferred Bachelor's degree in related field preferred, or equivalent work experience Strong proficiency configuring solutions within Planview and the Microsoft Power Suite (Power BI, Power Automate), preferred Strong database querying skills, including the ability to write, troubleshoot, and optimize SQL queries, preferred Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and supporting ETL pipelines, preferred Hands-on experience building, consuming, and troubleshooting APIs (REST/SOAP) to support multi-system integrations, preferred Solid understanding of PMO methodologies, project portfolio management, and related business processes, preferred What is expected of you and others at this level Applies comprehensive knowledge and a thorough understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to perform varied tasks and projects May contribute to the development of policies and procedures Works on complex projects of large scope Develops technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems Solutions are innovative and consistent with organization objectives Completes work; independently receives general guidance on new projects Work reviewed for purpose of meeting objectives May act as a mentor to less experienced colleagues Anticipated salary range: $94,900.00 - $135,600.00 Bonus eligible:
