Job Summary:

We are supporting a mobile facilities opportunity for a skilled professional who can help maintain critical building systems across a service area covering Springfield, IL and surrounding locations. This position is focused on keeping HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and related equipment operating efficiently, safely, and with minimal downtime.

Responsibilities:

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and related facility equipment. Inspect assigned properties and complete repairs for interior and exterior areas, including walls, flooring, fixtures, roofing systems, and lighting. Respond to work orders, update status in real time, and use CMMS tools to track work performed. Support call-in work, submit P-card receipts daily, and help maintain safe, energy-efficient facility operations.

Required:

Minimum of four years of technical experience in building engineering with a strong background in HVAC/R, plumbing, electrical, and production equipment repair and maintenance. Universal CFC recovery certification, or the ability to obtain it within 90 days of employment. High school diploma or GED. Valid state driver's license and availability for call-in work, with willingness to perform other duties as required.
