The Manufacturing Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of manufacturing machinery and systems through preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment improvements. This role requires technical expertise to maintain operational and safety standards within the manufacturing environment. Our maintenance engineers play a crucial role in production efficiency. Key Responsibilities and Skills Preventative Maintenance
- Regularly scheduled maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures and ensure smooth operations. Troubleshooting
- Quickly diagnosing and resolving machinery issues to minimize downtime and maintain productivity. Repair
- Basic repair of mechanical equipment, knowledge of electrical systems, hydraulics and pneumatics, conveyers, air lines, etc. Equipment Improvements
- Overseeing enhancements and modifications to existing machinery to improve performance and efficiency. Safety Compliance
- Ensuring all maintenance activities adhere to safety regulations and standards to protect workers and equipment.
Requirements Proven experience practicing in an industrial or manufacturing engineering role with a strong background in factory or manufacturing facility environments. Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, along with schematics interpretation (GD&T) and engineering troubleshooting skills. Hands-on experience with industrial automation including robotics, CNC machining, vision inspection systems, tooling, and industrial equipment. Skilled in project management with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks effectively within a fast-paced setting. Mechanical knowledge combined with assembly line experience to support tooling design and equipment upgrades. Familiarity with industrial safety standards and quality improvement programs in engineering environments. Excellent team leadership skills with the ability to collaborate across functions for process optimization and problem-solving initiatives. Knowledge and experience will determine final salary.
