Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Part-Time Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of facilities and equipment across our operations. Your expertise will ensure that our environment remains safe, functional, and efficient, supporting both our manufacturing processes and residential facilities. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong mechanical and electrical background who thrive in a hands-on, fast-paced setting. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery, electrical systems, and building infrastructure to minimize downtime. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters. Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to manage automated systems effectively. Assist with facilities maintenance projects, including upgrades or renovations, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Support manufacturing operations by maintaining equipment reliability and responding promptly to urgent repairs. Requirements Proven experience in facilities maintenance or manufacturing environments with a focus on mechanical and electrical systems. Strong knowledge of schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals related to building systems and machinery. Hands-on skills in general repair work. Electrical experience including troubleshooting circuits and understanding electrical codes. Ability to read and interpret schematics effectively to diagnose issues accurately. Supervising experience or leadership skills are preferred for coordinating maintenance activities. Excellent communication skills in English to collaborate with team members and document work clearly. Customer service mindset with the ability to prioritize safety while maintaining high-quality standards.
