Maintenance Engineer

HP Pelzer Automotive Systems Inc. seeks a Maintenance Engineer in Eudora, KS to Analyze mechanical and operational problems on mechanical and electrical devices such as safety devices, PLC programing, robots, pumps, hydraulics and pneumatics systems. Assist in the planning of corrective actions and implement action plan. Make necessary corrections and running adjustments to maintain maximum production and quality. Test newly installed or refurbished machines and equipment to ensure fulfillment to specification and safety. Perform preventive maintenance on equipment that is not scheduled for manufacturing to reduce downtime. Ensure the supervisor is aware of recurring equipment malfunction, of corrective action taken, and of quality problems or supplies needed. Maintain positive communication among other shift and departments to ensure consistent information. Ensure adherence to plant safety requirements as established by company policy. Ensure adherence to all Environmental Health and Safety Regulations. Performing activities such as welding, mechanical design through software and mathematical modeling. Utilize the following tools and technologies: SolidWorks; Ansys; LabVIEW; TIA Portal; Allen Bradley RSLogix 500 and 5000; FluidSIM; KEYENCE Safety Device Configurator SZ-V, SZ, and GL- R Series; Proteus PCB Design and Circuit Simulator Software; Autodesk EAGLE; and Python programming language.
