Building Maintenance Engineer

Building Maintenance Engineer (BME) The Building Maintenance Engineer (BME) will be a highly coordinated position that will work in all phases of the maintenance, repair, and service to tenants of Commercial Office and Retail Buildings. The BME will be self-directed to complete all maintenance, repair, and compliance activities. The BME will work in a fast-paced environment and will be responsible for executing property maintenance strategies in several commercial buildings in the Covington/Northshore region. Ensure Company's contract responsibilities are met or exceeded through completing maintenance and serivce tasks. Tracking and oversight of property projects to ensure timely and satisfactory completion using YARDI property management software. Collaborate effectively and extensively with the Property Managers, Property Assistants, and contracted third-party vendors Exhibit friendly and professional service to tenants and visitors Actively contribute to Company management discussions and think critically about opportunities for service improvement Dependable, fully insured vehicle for travel between property locations capable of hauling a 6 foot ladder and other materials needed to complete tasks. Small hand tools to be provided by applicant. (ex.

• screw drivers, wrenches, pliers, power tools
• drill, saw, etc.) Work schedule is from 7am
• 4pm Monday
• Friday (include 1hr lunch break) Available for afterhours call backs for emergency maintenance needs on a rotating basis approximately one week per month Maintenance of building systems including lighting, plumbing, HVAC, painting, carpentry, etc.

Ability to maintain superb attention to detail, confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism in a fast-paced dynamic environment. Use of iPhone (provided by the Company) for job tracking, time card entry, email, all communication with team members and vendors
