Job Description
Mechanical, HVAC, and Plumbing Engineer Huseman & Associates is seeking a full time, creative, and knowledgeable candidate in the field of mechanical engineering. This position will concentrate on creating HVAC and plumbing construction documents, performing calculations, and field observations to support the design of new and renovated commercial and industrial buildings. Responsibilities Able to independently perform HVAC and/or plumbing engineering design using Revit with some supervision. Produce piping and duct distribution floor plans. Perform mechanical (HVAC and/or plumbing) calculations, schedules, and specifications. Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Engineer In Training (EIT) certification and/or 2+ years of experience is required. Knowledge of ASHRAE, IMC, IPC, NFPA, and design and construction practices is preferred. Experience in Revit CAD software is preferred. Solid understanding of mechanical engineering principles and design. Experience with root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques. Ability to work with schematics and perform drafting tasks. Experience with thermal modeling and energy modeling software like Trane Trace is preferred.
