This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical, mechanical, HVAC, cooling, and building systems to ensure safe and uninterrupted operations. Key Responsibilities Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot critical electrical and mechanical systems. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility equipment. Respond to alarms, incidents, and equipment failures. Monitor systems using building management and maintenance software. Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders. Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation. Follow all safety procedures and support continuous improvement initiatives. Mentor and assist junior technicians as needed. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in facilities, industrial, manufacturing, data center, or mission-critical environments. Experience with electrical, HVAC, mechanical, or building systems. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and maintenance documentation. Strong commitment to safety and operational excellence. Preferred Data center or critical facilities experience. Trade certification, apprenticeship, military technical training, or equivalent experience. Certifications such as
OSHA, NFPA 70E, EPA
608, Electrical, HVAC, or Mechanical licenses. #MPipe26 Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Ann Arbor, MI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $55.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
