Job Description

The Maintenance Supervisor adds value to the community by ensuring identification and completion of daily general apartment maintenance duties, developing and upholding company standards, and ensuring all tasks are performed in the utmost professional manner.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the activities of the maintenance team, including technicians, groundskeepers, and other staff members as deemed necessary. Work hands on with staff in all areas of the maintenance responsibilities. Conduct regular inspections of apartments, common areas, and amenities to identify and resolve maintenance issues promptly. Coordinate and prioritize maintenance requests, ensuring timely and efficient completion. Train and mentor maintenance staff, promoting a culture of continuous learning and development. Order and maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment. Collaborate with property manager to address resident concerns and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Implement and enforce safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Proven experience in supervising and leading a maintenance team. Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general carpentry. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to effectively communicate with residents, staff, and management. High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training is a plus. Relevant certifications (e.g., HVAC, plumbing) will be an advantage.
