Long term contract About the Opportunity Are you a seasoned Mechanical Engineer who thrives at the intersection of complex HVAC design, building automation, and project execution? We are looking for a Senior HVAC Design & Project Engineer to serve as the technical lead for our facility capital project portfolio. In this role, you'll own the scoping, preliminary design, and engineering direction for multi-million-dollar HVAC and controls initiatives—driving projects from early concept to successful handover. If you enjoy solving intricate engineering puzzles, optimizing Building Automation Systems (BAS), and collaborating closely with leadership and operations teams, this is the ideal opportunity to make a lasting impact. What You'll Do As a technical subject matter expert and project owner, you will:
Drive Project Scoping & Design:
Lead early-stage engineering, develop preliminary layouts, establish schedules, build preliminary cost estimates, and perform risk assessments.
Manage Capital Projects:
Oversee a dynamic portfolio of concurrent HVAC capital projects ranging from $50K up to $5M .
Lead Controls & BAS Optimization:
Apply expert knowledge of HVAC controls and Building Automation Systems (BAS) to ensure modern, efficient, and reliable system operations.
Partner & Collaborate:
Serve as the primary liaison between Project Managers, Facilities Leadership, and front-line technicians to align on designs and troubleshoot operational issues.
