Mobile Engineer HVAC/R Location:
Jackson, Michigan (On-site)
Job Summary:
Our team is seeking a skilled professional to operate, inspect, and maintain HVAC and refrigeration systems, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and production equipment in a facility environment. We rely on this position to ensure optimal equipment efficiency, proactive repairs, and a safe working atmosphere for both employees and visitors.
Responsibilities:
Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and responsive repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other installed systems within the facility. Maintain, operate, and repair all HVAC/R systems, electrical distribution equipment, plumbing systems, building interiors and exteriors, and related production equipment. Conduct facility inspections and due diligence tasks, reporting on conditions that impact client occupancy and operations. Comply with all safety procedures, complete hazard assessments, and maintain good housekeeping standards in assigned work areas.
Required:
Minimum of four years of technical experience in building engineering with demonstrated expertise in HVAC/R, plumbing, electrical, and production equipment maintenance. Universal CFC recovery certification, or ability to obtain within 90 days from start date. High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Ability to lift up to 80 lbs., work from heights, frequently climb, bend, kneel, stoop, extend overhead, and drive for extended periods as needed, must be available for on-call work as scheduled by the employer.
