Jones Lang LaSalle Americas, Inc. is hiring a Mobile HVAC/R Engineer to support multiple commercial properties across the Chicago area. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC/R and building systems, perform preventive maintenance, respond to service calls, and ensure optimal comfort, safety, and energy efficiency. Partner with clients and site teams, track work orders, and support sustainability initiatives. Responsibilities Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial HVAC/R equipment across multiple properties Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections to ensure system reliability and efficiency Respond to service calls, diagnose issues, and implement timely, high-quality repairs Monitor and adjust building automation systems to optimize comfort and energy performance Maintain accurate records of work orders, parts usage, and equipment history in CMMSEnsure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards, including refrigerant handling Collaborate with site teams and clients to plan work, minimize downtime, and communicate status Support energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives within managed facilities Required Skills Commercial HVAC maintenance Refrigeration systems HVAC troubleshooting and repair Building automation systems (BAS) Preventive maintenance scheduling Electrical and mechanical diagnostics EPA 608 certification knowledge Safety and compliance standards Work order and CMMS systems Energy efficiency practices
