Maintenance Engineer - Minnesota Masonic Home (Bloomington, MN)
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, with on-call rotation

Located on a beautiful campus in Bloomington , our facility provides exceptional senior care and a strong sense of community. We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Engineer to join our diverse and compassionate team. Job Summary As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for performing preventative and restorative maintenance on a variety of systems and equipment throughout the facility. You will ensure the continued operation and safety of all mechanical, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems, and contribute to a comfortable and secure environment for our residents and staff. Key Responsibilities Perform skilled maintenance and repairs on mechanical systems, HVAC units, plumbing, and electrical equipment. Complete assigned repair requests (e.g., beds, wheelchairs, light fixtures, etc.). Maintain accurate records of preventative maintenance activities. Ensure compliance with facility policies, procedures, building codes, and safety regulations. Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency maintenance needs. Perform all other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum 2 years of building/plant engineering or maintenance experience . Valid MN Driver's License required. HVAC certificate or degree highly preferred. Strong knowledge of building systems, HVAC controls, electrical/plumbing systems, and industrial kitchen equipment. Ability to troubleshoot and repair pneumatic and large mechanical equipment. Commitment to working in a resident-centered environment with a focus on safety. Why Join Minnesota Masonic Home?
