Job DescriptionThe Engineer is responsible for maintaining building systems and infrastructure through proactive maintenance, emergency response, and system repairs. This role requires technical expertise in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and related mechanical systems, combined with the ability to respond effectively to critical situations.

This role requires technical expertise in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and related mechanical systems, combined with the ability to respond effectively to critical situations.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
Respond promptly to emergency situations, including but not limited to fires, power outages, gas leaks, water leaks, and other critical system failures, implementing appropriate corrective actionsExecute preventive maintenance programs on all building equipment and machinery according to established maintenance schedules to ensure optimal operational performanceConduct repairs and maintenance on building systems including air conditioning, furnace, plumbing, electrical wiring, and related infrastructure to maintain facility functionality and safety standardsOversee renovation and remodeling projects, ensuring completion of assigned work in accordance with specifications and timelinesApply advanced technical knowledge and engineering principles to execute assignments safely, accurately, and in compliance with industry standards and building codesMaintain effective communication and coordination through radio communication systems to ensure seamless operational continuityQualifications- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Prior experience in a similar position preferred.
- Must be able to stand and walk throughout shift.
- Must be able to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and work in confined areas.
- Must be able to safely and effectively use hand and power tools.
- Must be able to carry and communicate by two-way radio.
- Must have excellent communication skills.
