Maintenance Engineer Glendive, MT | Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM | Pay Beginning at $21.29 per hour Help Keep Healthcare Running Glendive Medical Center is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to support the day-to-day operation of facility systems and equipment. In this essential role, you'll help ensure a safe, efficient, and well-functioning environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Position Overview The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for maintaining and repairing mechanical, electrical, and building systems throughout the facility. This position plays a key role in supporting patient care by ensuring all systems operate reliably and safely. What You'll Do Perform preventative and routine maintenance on facility equipment Maintain boiler systems, heating systems, and HVAC equipment Monitor and service emergency generators and electrical systems Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and operational issues Maintain maintenance logs and documentation Identify and report safety concerns or equipment issues Assist with general facility upkeep and repairs as needed Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Boiler Operator 3rd Class license (State of Montana) required Valid driver's license with clean driving record Technical training or vocational school education preferred Skills & Abilities Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills Knowledge of building systems and industrial equipment Ability to follow safety procedures and regulations Effective communication and teamwork Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
