Contract-to-Hire (Long-Term Opportunity) About the Role Loyal Source is seeking a skilled and motivated HVAC Controls Engineer to join our growing team. This position is ideal for an engineering professional with a strong background in commercial HVAC controls systems design and engineering. The role offers a combination of office-based engineering work and field support, providing a dynamic environment for experienced controls professionals. Key Responsibilities Design and engineer commercial HVAC controls systems for a variety of projects. Develop control system layouts, sequences of operation, and system specifications. Collaborate with customers, project teams, and field personnel to ensure successful project execution. Provide engineering support during installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities. Conduct site visits and field assessments as needed. Ensure projects meet customer requirements, industry standards, and performance expectations. Work Environment Approximately 30-40% field work and 60-70% office work . Standard office hours are 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM . Field schedules may vary based on customer needs; flexibility is required. Travel may be required throughout New Hampshire and Maine. Required Qualifications Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in the HVAC Controls industry . Strong engineering background with experience designing and engineering controls systems. Commercial HVAC experience is required. Experience with controls system design, programming concepts, and system integration. U.S. Citizenship is required. Preferred Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline. Additional years of HVAC controls experience may be considered in lieu of an engineering degree, particularly candidates with 10+ years of directly related experience.
