Pennington, NJ Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team on a contract-to-hire basis. This role offers a competitive salary and the opportunity to work in a dynamic and regulated laboratory environment. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of building systems through the monitoring, troubleshooting, and operation of Building Automation Systems. Responsibilities Monitor and operate the Building Automation System to ensure efficient functionality. Troubleshoot system alarms, faults, and irregularities promptly. Adjust systems and controls as needed to maintain optimal performance. Run trends and generate reports from system data for analysis. Coordinate with other technical staff to resolve system problems. Document maintenance activities and system updates accurately. Essential Skills Niagara 4 (N4) certification is required. 10+ years of experience in HVAC systems. Experience working in a laboratory environment. Familiarity with industrial HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. Proficient in BACnet protocols. Strong technical skills and problem-solving ability. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with TECs is a plus. Familiarity with Siemens building automation hardware. Experience with Niagara platforms. Ability to run trends and generate reports effectively.
