About the Role Join our team as a Manufacturing Equipment & Facilities Engineer and play a key role in driving process excellence, quality, and innovation in a precision machining environment. You'll leverage your expertise to lead the specification, installation, and a startup of CNC and support equipment to support new and existing product lines over several locations. Key ResponsibilitiesEquipment Planning & Specification

• Develop equipment requirements based on product/process needs.
• Prepare RFQs and evaluate supplier proposals.
• Select CNC platforms, controls, metrology systems, and supporting equipment. Installation, Commissioning & Startup
• Oversee site readiness including utilities, foundations, safety, and network setup.
• Lead FAT/SAT, accuracy verification, and capability checks.
• Coordinate daily activities with contractors and maintenance teams. Quality, Process & Compliance
• Ensure equipment and processes meet GD&T, capability (Cp/Cpk), and customer requirements.
• Support PFMEA, Control Plans, and MSA activities.
• Implement SPC, calibration, and traceability systems. Manufacturing Engineering & Continuous Improvement
• Design manufacturing layouts focusing on flow, safety, and ergonomics.
• Specify tooling, work holding, and process monitoring systems.
• Identify and execute improvement opportunities to increase OEE and reduce waste. Facilities & EHS Integration
• Ensure regulatory compliance including guarding, ventilation, and noise control.
• Coordinate facility support for utilities capacity, floor loading, and site modifications. Project Management & Financials
• Develop equipment CAPEX requests and manage budgets.
• Maintain project schedules, risks, and vendor communication.
• Oversee Contractors and Maintenance Personnel during installations Training, Documentation & Handover
• Create SOPs, PMs, and operator/maintenance instructions.
• Provide training and ensure complete production handoff. Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5-8 years CNC equipment installation and commissioning experience.
• Knowledge of manufacturing and metrology systems.
• Vendor and contractor coordination experience.
• Understanding of OSHA, machine safety, and LOTO. Preferred Qualifications
• Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or similar process improvement certifications.

APQP / PPAP

experience

• Experience in aerospace, automotive, or defense manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, and AS13100 standards

Pay:

$80,824.00 - $120,000.00 per year
