www.united-gs.com Position Summary We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer with experience in piping and HVAC system design to support engineering and construction projects. This role offers opportunities to grow into construction layout, coordination, and estimating responsibilities. Candidates should be motivated to learn, adaptable, and capable of working both in office and field environments. Key Responsibilities- Assist in design and development of mechanical piping and HVAC systems
- Prepare and review engineering drawings and layouts
- Coordinate with engineering and construction teams
- Support BIM coordination and clash detection activities
- Participate in site visits and field verification when required
- Assist with material takeoffs and estimating support
- Maintain project documentation using digital platforms Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Experience or coursework in piping design and HVAC systems
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks Manage, and Autodesk Construction Cloud
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Willingness to travel occasionally
- Willingness to cross-train in construction layout and estimating Preferred Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or progress toward licensure
- Data Center or mission-critical facility design experience
- Construction or field experience
- Experience with BIM coordination and construction support
Pay:
$80,000.00 - $105,000.00 per yearBenefits:
