79 per hour, depending on experience Position Summary The Maintenance Engineer III, Shift Engineer, performs skilled maintenance, repair, construction, and/or retrofits as a general / shift engineer. Performs skilled work within trade specialty on a variety of equipment, machinery, buildings, and/or electrical systems throughout the Asante Health System. May maintain a variety of equipment and systems ranging from the very basic to the complex, including critical equipment and systems. May serve as a technical expert in a trade specialty and guide the work of others, as well as serve as a Lead or Project Manager on assigned construction projects within the Real Estate &Sustainable Planning Department. Achieves the highest level of safety and reliability and ensures that maintenance, repair, construction, and/or retrofits meet all regulatory compliance standards. Ensures optimum performance and efficiency to guarantee customer satisfaction. Position Qualifications Experience 5 years of previous hospital maintenance or equivalent military/vendor/contractor-related maintenance is required. Education High school diploma or equivalent is required. An associate's degree is preferred. Previous training in OSHA, NFPA, and DNV compliance standards is preferred Certification/Licensure Certification from a recognized trade school or military training programs is preferred LEED AP (Accredited Professional) is preferred Journeyman HVAC/R, or Journeyman Plumbing Certification issued by the State of Oregon is preferred
ODL:
