Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Facilities Engineer to join our team and drive excellence in maintaining and optimizing our manufacturing facilities. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical expertise in industrial maintenance, electrical systems, HVAC, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical troubleshooting to ensure seamless operations. As a Facilities Engineer, you will be instrumental in maintaining equipment reliability, improving facility systems, and supporting safety standards across our manufacturing site. Your proactive approach and technical prowess will contribute to a safe, efficient, and innovative work environment. Duties Perform routine and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and HVAC systems. Utilize schematics, electrical blueprints, and technical manuals to diagnose issues accurately and implement effective repairs. Conduct equipment diagnostics using tools such as ammeters, ohmmeters, precision measuring instruments, and other diagnostic devices. Manage maintenance activities through Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, inventory, and maintenance history. Troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical systems, and control panels to ensure optimal operation of automated processes. Perform welding (including welding), equipment repairs, and component replacements adhering to safety standards. Operate industrial lifts such as scissor lifts safely for access to elevated areas during maintenance tasks. Collaborate with engineering teams on system upgrades, schematics interpretation, and installation of new equipment or modifications. Ensure compliance with safety regulations related to electrical diagnostics, HVAC/R systems, hydraulic/pneumatic troubleshooting, and industrial mechanics. Support customer service initiatives by providing timely solutions for facility-related issues impacting production efficiency. Requirements Proven experience working within manufacturing facilities with a strong background in industrial maintenance and equipment troubleshooting. Hands-on experience with electrical diagnostics using tools like ammeters and ohmmeters; ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints. Knowledge of HVAC/R systems including installation, repair, and troubleshooting; HVAC certification is a plus. Skilled in mechanical repairs involving industrial mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding ( welding preferred), and precision measuring instruments. Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), electrical systems integration, schematics interpretation, and engineering troubleshooting techniques. Ability to operate scissor lifts safely; valid certification required or willingness to obtain training if necessary. Experience with CMMS software for maintenance planning and record keeping. Strong analysis skills combined with excellent customer service orientation to address facility issues promptly. Fluency in English; effective communication skills are essential for collaborating across teams. Relevant certifications in electrical systems or industrial electrician experience preferred; knowledge of hydraulic systems is advantageous.
