Mechanical Engineer - Facilities Mgmt. Forensic Investigator {"description": "You are a P.E. with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and 10+ years of Facilities Maintenance/Management experience (commercial, institutional, and/or residential). You have a deep understanding of property management and safety. You are already an expert. Robson Forensic will train you to be a forensic expert. As a Mechanical Engineer - Facilities Management Expert , you will:
- Investigate facilities and grounds maintenance and management incidents.
- Analyze documents and on-site conditions to determine the facts and issues at hand.
- Write clear, scientifically sound reports.
- Provide expert testimony.

LOCATION
Lancaster, PAREQUIREMENTS
Licensure:
Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.Education:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.Experience:
10+ years of experience as a commercial, institutional, and/or residential Facilities Manager with hands-on experience assessing, running, and troubleshooting building systems; experience managing a winter maintenance crew is a plus.Knowledge:
In-depth knowledge of facilities and grounds safety.Skills:
Excellent technical, analytical, writing, and communication skills.Aptitude:
Strong ability to translate complex technical findings into clear, objective evidence for non-technical audiences.Work Style:
Approximately 20% travel for inspections; the remainder is focused on analysis and report drafting, working independently and as part of a collaborative team.- Prior forensic experience is not required.
