This is a remote role for someone based in South Florida, with regular site visits across the region. You'll report directly to our VP and own your projects from start to finish. We need a self-starter. If you need someone checking in on you every hour, this isn't your job. If you like running your own projects, solving problems, and getting work out the door, keep reading. What you'll do: Design and engineer MEP systems for commercial, residential, and mixed-use projects Own your projects from kickoff to permit-ready drawings Prepare and stamp plans, calcs, and specs Coordinate with our structural team, architects, contractors, and clients Respond to plan review comments and RFIs quickly and clearly Perform regular site visits and inspections across South Florida Keep projects on schedule and on budget What we're looking for: Active Florida PE license, held for at least 5 years (required) Expert-level experience in at least 2 of the 3: mechanical, electrical, plumbing Proven track record of working independently and managing your own workload A go-getter who takes ownership and doesn't wait to be told what to do Strong communicator with clients, contractors, and internal teams Solid knowledge of the Florida Building Code and local permitting Comfortable with AutoCAD and/or Revit, plus standard design and calc tools Must live in South Florida The pay: $100,000 to $140,000 salary, based on experience and disciplines covered.
