Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing facility as an Engineering / Maintenance Technician, where your expertise will keep our operations running smoothly and efficiently. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the reliability and safety of our equipment and systems. You will be instrumental in maintaining and repairing a wide range of machinery, supporting continuous production, and contributing to process improvements. Your proactive approach and technical knowledge will help us achieve operational excellence while fostering a safe and productive workplace. Duties Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulics, electrical systems, HVAC/R units, and mechanical components. Utilize schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and precision measuring instruments to identify issues accurately. Maintain and update records using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track maintenance activities, parts inventory, and work orders. Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan. Operate field service tools such as scissor lifts and other industrial lifting equipment safely to access high or hard-to-reach areas. Support installation projects involving welding (including welding), mechanical assembly, or electrical upgrades in accordance with safety standards. Collaborate with production teams to optimize machinery performance and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency. Ensure compliance with safety protocols related to high voltage systems, low voltage controls, and industrial electrician standards. Assist in emergency repairs or troubleshooting during production shifts to minimize disruptions. Provide technical support for customer service inquiries related to equipment performance or maintenance issues. Qualifications Proven experience working within a manufacturing facility environment with a strong focus on industrial maintenance. Solid knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, electrical wiring (high voltage and low voltage), schematics, and industrial mechanics. Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), industrial electrician practices, and troubleshooting control systems. Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance tracking and inventory management. Ability to read technical schematics, blueprints, and mechanical diagrams accurately. Experience operating field service equipment such as scissor lifts safely. Strong analysis skills for diagnosing complex machinery issues quickly and effectively. Excellent customer service skills when interacting with internal teams or external clients during field service activities. Knowledge of welding techniques including welding is preferred. Certifications in HVAC/R or industrial electrician credentials are highly desirable. Military experience in maintenance or technical roles is considered an asset. Fluency in English is required for effective communication across teams. $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
