The role ensures valves meet project, safety, quality, and regulatory requirements while supporting engineering, procurement, and operations teams. Responsibilities Select and specify valves (e.g., gate, globe, ball, butterfly, control, safety/relief) based on process conditions and applicable standards Review project requirements, P&IDs, data sheets, and specifications related to valves and actuators Prepare and review valve datasheets, material specifications, and technical documentation Coordinate with vendors and manufacturers on technical clarifications, quotations, and compliance Support inspection, testing, and quality assurance activities (FAT, SAT, pressure testing) Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards (e.g., API, ASME, ISO) Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and operation Assist in troubleshooting valve performance or failure issues Support continuous improvement initiatives related to valve performance and reliability Qualifications Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field 10+ year of experience in valve engineering, piping, or mechanical systems (experience level may vary) Familiar with 3D modeling and auto cad. Knowledge of industrial valve types, materials, and actuation methods Familiarity with relevant industry standards and codes

$130,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
