Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior HVAC and Cleanroom Engineer to lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), and cleanroom systems. Responsibilities Lead the design and development of HVAC systems and cleanroom environments, ensuring compliance with industry standards such as ASME codes & standards. Conduct detailed mechanical drafting, 3D modeling for product design, and create precise mechanical drawings using CAD software such as SolidWorks, Creo, or similar tools. Perform tolerance analysis and root cause analysis to troubleshoot system issues, optimize performance, and improve reliability. Manage project scheduling from conception through completion, coordinating cross-functional teams including manufacturing, engineering product development, and quality assurance. Utilize building information modeling (BIM) tools and schematics to plan layouts and system integrations for complex projects. Apply engineering principles such as FEA (Finite Element Analysis), GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and mechanical detail drawings to ensure robust machine design. Develop control schemes using programmable logic controllers (PLCs), LabVIEW, MATLAB/Simulink, Arduino platforms, or similar automation tools to enhance system functionality. Conduct mechanical knowledge-based assessments including tolerance analysis, mechanical drafting, 3D CAD modeling, and schematic creation for product development projects. Perform root cause analysis on system failures or inefficiencies to implement corrective actions promptly. Maintain detailed documentation including schematics, mechanical drawings, technical reports, and project records for compliance and future reference. Experience Proven experience practicing in an industrial or manufacturing engineering role with a focus on HVAC systems or cleanroom environments. Extensive background in mechanical engineering with hands-on experience in manufacturing or engineering product development projects. Proficiency with CAD software such as SolidWorks or Creo for 3D modeling for product design; familiarity with building information modeling (BIM) tools is a plus. Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles including machine design, tolerance analysis, GD&T standards (ASME codes & standards). Experience with simulation tools like FEA (Finite Element Analysis), MATLAB/Simulink for system modeling and validation. Skilled in project management practices including project scheduling, resource allocation, risk assessment, and cross-functional communication. Familiarity with automation platforms such as PLCs, LabVIEW, Arduino for control system integration is highly desirable. Ability to perform root cause analysis efficiently using systematic troubleshooting methods within complex systems.
