Job Description

Plumbing Detailer (VDC/BIM) - Full-Time (On-Site)Company Overview We are a construction technology-focused organization specializing in digital design, coordination, and prefabrication support for industrial, commercial, and high-tech facilities across the United States. By combining hands-on trade experience with advanced BIM/VDC and field technologies, we deliver accurate models, fabrication-ready deliverables, and practical solutions that enhance field efficiency—not just theoretical designs. Our project portfolio includes semiconductor and cleanroom facilities, data centers, manufacturing environments, and large-scale multifamily developments. We emphasize in-house production by field-experienced professionals to ensure all deliverables are coordinated, practical, and buildable. Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Plumbing Detailer (VDC/BIM) for a full-time, on-site role. This position is responsible for developing detailed plumbing system layouts, producing fabrication-ready models and drawings, and supporting multi-trade coordination efforts. The ideal candidate is capable of joining active projects and contributing with minimal supervision. Key Responsibilities Develop detailed plumbing system models using Revit Produce shop drawings, spool drawings, and installation-ready documentation Perform clash detection and coordination using Navisworks or similar tools Collaborate with internal teams and external trade partners to resolve design conflicts Ensure all deliverables align with real-world constructability and installation practices Maintain high standards of accuracy, organization, and adherence to project requirements Required Qualifications Proven experience in plumbing detailing, BIM, or VDC Strong understanding of plumbing systems, codes, and installation methods Proficiency in Revit (mandatory) Experience with Navisworks or similar coordination platforms Ability to work independently and manage assigned project scopes Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship Preferred Qualifications Field experience in plumbing or related trades Experience working on large-scale commercial, industrial, or multifamily projects Exposure to process piping or high-tech facility environments Experience with prefabrication and spool drawings Important Note This is not an entry-level position . Candidates should have 5-10 years of relevant experience in plumbing detailing or BIM/VDC and be able to contribute immediately. Applicants may be required to complete a brief skills assessment or provide sample work (e.g., shop drawings or models) during the evaluation process.
Pay:
$90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
