Job Description

Job Description Insight Global is looking for a Facility Engineer to support one if its Data Center Clients in Sterling, VA. The Facility Engineer on shift is responsible for the operation and maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment in support of mission-critical servers requiring 100% uptime. Responsibilities:
  • Ensure proper distribution of power within the facility and to equipment racks.
  • Ensure proper operation, maintenance, and prompt repair of equipment, as needed.
  • Manage contractors and vendors.

  • 5 years experience in a Data Center operations
  • Advanced knowledge of medium (25kV) and low (120/208 and 277/480) volt systems including UPS, PDU, transformer, etc.
  • Advanced knowledge of generators. Advanced knowledge of CRAH systems.
  • Able to apply basic computer knowledge and experience in order to facilitate the ticket process.
  • Military (especially Navy) backgrounds
  • License facilities operation trade in mechanical, electrical or HVAC in one or more areas
