  • Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team.
The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in air conditioning systems, installation, maintenance, and equipment repair. This role requires the ability to read and interpret schematics, as well as demonstrate leadership skills in a construction environment. The successful applicant will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of air conditioning systems. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems in residential and commercial properties. Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on air conditioning units to ensure optimal performance. Diagnose faults and troubleshoot issues with air conditioning equipment, providing effective solutions. Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and components. Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure seamless integration of HVAC systems. Lead small teams during installation or repair projects, ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory management. Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices related to air conditioning systems. Requirements Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer or similar role within the HVAC industry. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various types of air conditioning systems. Familiarity with reading schematics and technical drawings related to HVAC installations. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage small teams effectively. Experience in equipment repair, maintenance, and installation within a construction setting is preferred. Relevant certifications or qualifications in HVAC or related fields are advantageous. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
