Join CertainTeed as a Maintenance Engineer and play a crucial role in enhancing plant reliability and efficiency. Utilize World Class Manufacturing (WCM) techniques to investigate and solve reliability issues while supporting maintenance teams and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Maintenance Initiatives:

Plan, evaluate, and implement maintenance and repair activities to ensure minimal downtime and maximum safety.

Drive Continuous Improvement:

Perform root cause analysis and implement sustainable solutions to enhance plant reliability.

Support Team Development:

Collaborate with maintenance teams to develop preventive maintenance strategies and support Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) efforts.

Documentation & Compliance:

Ensure all projects meet WCM/Early Equipment Management (EEM) standards and maintain accurate records in our Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).

IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience:

Proven experience in maintenance engineering, with a strong understanding of blueprints, schematics, and equipment reliability. Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience or equivalent training in maintenance or engineering.

Skills:

Excellent problem-solving abilities. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams). Experience with AutoCAD and P&ID is a plus. #LI=KM1 A
