Job Description

Overview Orrick currently has an excellent opportunity for a part-time Maintenance Engineer Coordinator at the Global Operations & Innovation Center "GOIC" in Wheeling, WV . Noting, this position requires regular in-office attendance. Responsibilities The Maintenance Engineer Coordinator coordinates on a weekly basis with outside contractors and in-house service personnel performing a wide variety of tasks related to the maintenance and operation of the GOIC. Provides support and assistance to the Facilities Supervisor of the GOC as well as other departmental employees. Performs a variety of duties to ensure that the building operations function smoothly. Office Moves - Executes employee office and equipment moves and transfers within and between groups in a timely manner. Ability to do handyman tasks, such as, minor plumbing (toilet repair) and electrical (replacing fixtures). Handles data cabling and practical electrical work, including conduit bending and workstation connections. Compares pricing for supplies from multiple vendors. Heavy interaction with all GOIC vendors, primarily security, building and grounds, and repair services. Proficient in Carrier HVAC Brivo card key system and Sensaphone notifier system(Alarm box dialer for equipment like boilers, lieberts, generators, etc.) software operating systems. Ability to troubleshoot and work through system equipment issues. Receives and makes service calls on all types of building equipment and systems such as elevators, HVAC, plumbing, sprinkler, fire alarm, FM 200 (NOC) and general office systems. Will be required to respond to emergency calls on weekends and evenings. Handle all maintenance calls from employees. Provides documentation and participates in the development of the Firm's Expense and Capital budgeting process. Acts as a liaison with building management with regard to complaints, repairs, maintenance, safety and security. Maintains Firm's card key system in coordination with local HR. Responsible for system updates (adds and deletions). Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required. Some college desirable. Technical certification desirable. Experience in HVAC software systems desirable. Proficient with MS Office applications ( Outlook and Teams), desirable Excellent communication skills both written and oral required. Ability to juggle multiple projects required. Minimum three years previous work experience required. Good figure aptitude; ability to reconcile invoices required. Excellent organizational and follow through skills required. Who is Orrick? Compensation and Benefits The expected salary range for this position is between $25,000 and $41,200. Orrick is committed to providing a comprehensive, competitive, and thoughtful total compensation package to our attorneys and staff, wherever they work. This compensation and benefits information is based on the Orrick s estimate as of the date of publication and may be modified in the future. The level of pay within the range will depend on a variety of job-related factors that may include, but not limited to, qualifications, relevant experience or education, particular skills or expertise, geography. Other compensation may include an annual discretionary merit bonus, which would be determined by Firm and individual performance.
