Job Title:
Manufacturing Engineering Technician Job Description As a Manufacturing Engineering Technician, you will play a key role in optimizing manufacturing processes to ensure product quality. You will be responsible for performing maintenance and troubleshooting activities, improving processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste, and conducting tests to validate and verify manufacturing processes. Additionally, you will train production staff on new processes and equipment while developing and maintaining manufacturing documentation. Responsibilities Optimize manufacturing processes to ensure product quality. Perform maintenance and troubleshooting activities. Improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste. Conduct root cause analysis on manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions. Conduct tests and experiments to validate and verify manufacturing processes. Train production staff on new processes and equipment. Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation. Essential Skills 3-5 years of technician experience in manufacturing or lab environments. Strong hands-on troubleshooting of electronic or electromechanical products. Proficient with Windows systems, peripherals, and device interfaces. Working awareness of Python, C#, and JSON for logs, configs, and basic scripts. Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and ESD controls. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with manufacturing processes and equipment. Familiarity with quality control processes and methodologies. Proficiency in technical problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and processes. Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal influence and integrity. Work Environment This is an on-site, production-floor based role. You will work closely with a collaborative team in a dynamic environment, utilizing modern technologies and methodologies to drive continuous improvement. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Syracuse, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $29.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
