Overview:

We are hiring an Engineering Technician to support fabrication, assembly, integration, and testing of optical and mechanical systems in a high-precision lab environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform fabrication, assembly, testing, and inspection per technical drawings/instructions Work on optical fiber splicing, photonic circuits, mechanical builds, and soldering Operate machining tools (lathe, mill, CNC) and lab equipment Integrate optical systems (lasers, power meters, etc.) Support calibration, maintenance, and documentation processes Maintain clean, organized, and compliant workspaces

Requirements:

High School Diploma + 6 years experience OR Associate's + 2 years experience Experience in lab/manufacturing or precision assembly environments Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications Active TS/SCI with CI Poly Clearance (Required)

Preferred:

Experience in photonics or optical systems Machine shop or DoD lab/workshop background
