by bridging safety requirements with actual project execution. Ensure vehicle level safety goals, integrity ASIL levels, Hazard Analysis Risk Assessment, Functional and Technical Safety Requirements are available timely to unblock product level safety analysis and requirements development. Develop detailed hardware and software functional-safety product level safety plans with targets and deliverables, integration, communicating cross-functional dependencies and risks. Act as the primary bridge between functional safety leads, system, software developers, hardware designers and external vendors, suppliers for respective communication and taking product development forward. Plan, track, document and summarize hardware and software safety test cases, DVPs and necessary co-ordination with functional safety leads, hardware and software designers, Test Engineers, Technical Program Management to bridge execution ensuring timely completeness. Co-ordinate quantitative and qualitative Hardware/Software failure analysis (FMEA, FMEDA, systems
DFMEA, FTA
) impacting safety (hardware and software) and ensure timely completeness and verification milestones. Co-ordinate resultant safety requirements and technical design discussions while ensuring the cross-functional alignment and timely integration. Maintain and develop the safety case across projects, compliance traceability matrices, and audit records throughout the product lifecycle. Develop, refine and maintain hardware and software FuSa engineering workflows processes across each work-product and impacting cross-functional engineering elements. Develop strategies and deploy consistent approaches of traceability between high-level FuSa workflows/work-products with product level systems, hardware, reliability and software safety engineering work-products. Verification & Validation (V&V): Planning of integration-level safety test cases and execution by hardware or software teams on respective setups. Leverage AI in ways of accelerating the overall engineering and process development while ensuring consistency where necessary using tools such as (claude, cursor, glean, gemini, embedded AI tools etc.) Co-ordinate Hardware, Software quality and regulatory advancements where necessary.
