DescriptionIn this highly visible role, you will take ownership of analog IP provided by external vendors. Your job is to assure that the IP is meeting Apple's high quality standards and gets flawlessly integrated in industry leading mobile devices. The role involves working closely with different cross functional teams within Apple as well as external vendors. Occasional travel might be required.
Responsibilities:
Define and specify requirements for analog IP provided by external vendorsDrive technical discussions with vendors and foundriesSupervise IP design, characterization, and debugReview and sign off of IP design/tools/flow/collaterals, test plans, characterization reportsSupport Apple IP integration teams including front-end design, design verification, physical design, DFT, TE/PE, SIPISupport Apple system teams with product integration, HW/SW bring up, and debugPreferred QualificationsHands-on design expertise in at least 3 of the following areas: LDO, ADC, DAC, PLL, Serdes, bandgap reference, filter design, switched capacitor circuit designSolid understanding of transistor device characteristics, especially in advanced CMOS processesSolid understanding of power, area and performance trade-off in mixed-signal designsKnowledge of analog IC design flow and toolsMultidisciplinary; being able to work on a large range of analog related topicsExperience with standards like PCI Express, MIPI, USB or DisplayPort is a plusExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong initiative and ownership of responsibilities, productive, able to meet aggressive deadlinesMinimum Qualifications
BSEE/MSEE
plus a minimum 7 years of experience in analog IC design.
