DescriptionThis is a unique hardware design position that starts at product concept and continues all the way through to mass production.
You will own the design, integration, and validation of main logic boards, perform component fit/routing layout studies, and create overall system-level solutions that meet product goals and push the boundaries of technology. You will work daily with multi-functional technology teams in a fast-paced environment.
There will be opportunities for international travel.
Preferred QualificationsMS in Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent10 years of industry experience preferredHigh-speed digital design experienceSchematic capture and PCB layout of complex HDI boardsFamiliarity with System in Package (SiP) designsHands-on lab experience with hardware bring-up and debugKnowledge of signal and power integrity fundamentalsUnderstanding of low-voltage power regulation solutionsIntegration of hardware into multi-functional systemsUse of AI/scripting languages to assist with hardware developmentFamiliarity with the challenges of taking a product from design through to productionExcellent verbal, written, and presentation skillsMinimum QualificationsBS in Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalentStrong electrical engineering fundamentals, including analog and digital design Experience working with dynamic multi-functional teamsExperience with tradeoff analysis and directional proposalsApple is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to inclusion and diversity. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $181,100 and $318,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You'll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses - including tuition.
