PCB Layout Design Engineer

Required skills / qualifications:

Bachelor or Associates degree in electrical engineering or similar and 2-7 years of professional experience in PCB layout design Understanding of PCB design/fabrication processes, limitations and design rules Ability to read and interpret schematics and apply best design practices and procedures for each PCB layout Proficiency with IPC standards for PCB design and manufacturing Experience using Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro or similar PCB layout design tools Experience with developing component libraries and library management Experience with a variety of board types, including high layer count (10+ layers), digital designs and power electronics Experience with creating PCB fabrication and assembly drawings Familiar with basic signal and power integrity rules and how those can affect PCB layout Ambitious spirit with a willingness to take on challenges, learn from mistakes and execute assignments Good written and oral communication skills and ability to work effectively with others Preferred skills / qualifications: Experience with high-speed digital interfaces and controlled impedance routing requirements Experience with flex circuits Experience with high-pin density packages and layout such as

FPGAs Salary Range :

$95,000- $156,000. Dependent on candidate's experience.
