Responsibilities for this Position Anti-Tamper Systems/Hardware Engineer Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Anti-Tamper Systems/Hardware Engineer to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) and the Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program. This role focuses on developing and implementing Anti-Tamper (AT) and program protection solutions to safeguard critical program information and components. The ideal candidate will have experience in system security engineering, anti-tamper methodologies, and defense exportability concerns, as well as strong analytical and communication skills. Position Responsibilities Collaborate with MDA and C2BMC leadership to implement updates and changes to the C2BMC system. Perform Anti-Tamper Risk and Threat Management Assessments and reports for the program. Develop, deliver, and maintain
C2BMC AT
plans, evaluations, key management plans, and program protection plans. Conduct Critical Program Information (CPI) analysis, Defense Exportability Assessments, and develop defense export strategies. Create and manage waivers for CPI, AT, and defense exportability features. Assess Anti-Tamper designs and implementation plans to support verification and validation efforts. Identify risk-based technical countermeasures to protect C2BMC Critical Program Information and Critical Components. Prepare and deliver briefings, white papers, and evaluations for Anti-Tamper and Program Protection requirements. Support program milestone reviews and fielding decisions to ensure entrance criteria are met. Interact with customers to define SSE requirements, solutions, trades, costs, implementation, and effectiveness. Develop plans, estimates, risk mitigation strategies, and track project tasks, reporting key updates to senior management. Basic Qualifications Advanced degree with 7+ years of experience or bachelor's degree with 9+ years of experience. Expertise in solving complex problems using ingenuity and creativity. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and deliver desired results. Proven project leadership skills, with experience as the primary customer contact for technical matters on contracts. Preferred Qualifications Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a high-performing, multi-disciplinary team. 9+ years of experience analyzing high-level needs and developing minimum viable products for fielded solutions. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly present technical approaches and findings. Experience in writing and implementing engineering plans within dynamic projects. 9+ years of experience with knowledge of secure hardware/software methodologies, anti-tampering, and exportability concerns. Proven ability to engineer automation pipelines for fast-paced environments with evolving requirements. Self-starter with the ability to conduct independent research and document results effectively. Additional Notes Work will be performed in a dynamic, closed environment. Some travel between development sites (COS and HSV) may be required. Active SECRET clearance required.
