Salary:
$145,000•$170,000 + 10% Bonus + Relocation $$ + 5% 401k Match (9/80 Work Schedule•Every other Friday off)Founded in 2003, our organization has grown to roughly 150 employees nationwide, with approximately 120 team members located at our Clearwater, FL facility. We design and manufacture ruggedized SATCOM terminals, RF subsystems, and mission critical communication hardware used by U.S. and allied defense customers. The Clearwater site focuses on engineering design, hardware development, sustaining engineering, and production support for ground based SATCOM systems and related electronic assemblies. We are seeking a Sr. Hardware Project Engineer who will lead engineering programs involving electronic hardware design, PCB based components, obsolescence analysis, and new product introduction into production.

What You Will Be DoingLead engineering projects involving electronic hardware design, PCB level components, and SATCOM related systems from concept through production supportCoordinate cross functional engineering resources (20 plus engineers shared across development teams) to drive schedules, deliverables, and technical executionManage sustaining engineering activities, including obsolescence investigations, part replacement analysis, and engineering changes for products already in productionOversee project planning, cost tracking, risk mitigation, and customer communication while ensuring alignment with DoD hardware development requirementsSupport new product introduction by coordinating design handoff, documentation, and transition into manufacturingUtilize tools such as Silicon Expert, Smartsheet, and engineering documentation systems to manage parts, schedules, and project workflowsLead small, fast moving engineering projects while balancing multiple priorities and technical dependenciesWhat You Need for This PositionAbility to obtain a Secret security clearanceBachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering strongly preferredHands on experience in electronic hardware design or engineering development involving PCB level componentsExperience leading engineering projects, coordinating technical teams, and managing schedules, risks, and deliverablesBackground in sustaining engineering, obsolescence management, or supporting products after release to productionFamiliarity with DoD hardware development, ruggedized electronics, or communication systemsExperience with new product introduction and engineering change processesPMP certification preferredExperience with Silicon Expert strongly preferred; Smartsheet can be learnedWhat's In It for YouFull Benefits Package (Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, LTD/STD, 401k w/ 5% matching) and more!
