Job Description

Hardware Engineer
  • ( Must be a citizen to be eligible for this role) Overview Lead end-to-end hardware development for professional audio/video and recording systems, from concept through production.
This role is highly hands-on, combining circuit design, PCB development, FPGA implementation, and system-level validation in a collaborative, fast-paced engineering environment. Key Responsibilities Own full hardware design lifecycle: architecture, schematic capture, PCB layout, bring-up, validation, and production release Design multi-layer, mixed-signal PCBs (analog, high-speed digital, and power) using Altium Develop
FPGA/HDL
solutions (Lattice, Intel) for audio/video processing and interface bridging Perform hands-on prototyping, debug, and validation using advanced lab equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers) Design power systems, including
USB-C/USB
PD and PoE Partner with firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to ensure system integration and product reliability Support contract manufacturers with DFM/DFA, build documentation, and production ramp Drive compliance readiness (EMC pre-testing, FCC/CE/UL) and ongoing product improvements Key Qualifications 15+ years of hardware/electrical engineering experience in product development Strong analog/digital design expertise and PCB layout (Altium) Experience with high-speed design, signal integrity, and power distribution
FPGA/HDL
development (Lattice, Intel platforms) Proficiency in hardware debugging, test validation, and failure analysis Experience with embedded platforms (e.g., Raspberry Pi CM carrier design) Experience in audio/video systems, USB interfaces, and professional AV environments Knowledge of manufacturing processes, component lifecycle management, and compliance Environment Fully onsite, highly collaborative engineering team Hands-on lab setting with full test and prototyping capabilities Close interaction with cross-functional teams and direct influence on product design
