Job Description
Infineon is looking for an experienced semiconductor test engineering leader who possess strong technical knowledge in automated test equipment, Design for Test, and test hardware design, while demonstrating excellent communication and leadership skills. The role involves leading test roadmap execution, driving process improvements, leveraging industry technologies, and resolving complex issues to deliver competitive new product solutions. Your Role Key responsibilities in your new role
- Lead the execution of test roadmaps by working closely with business teams to ensure testing provides a competitive advantage in opening new business opportunities for new products.
- Challenge existing development processes and systems for improved efficiency in new product execution.
- Be the focal person to leverage existing industry technologies, including those from other Infineon sites, and when necessary, innovate to provide the best short to long-term solutions in the testing of new products.
- Provide leadership to the new product development team by facilitating collaboration and team cohesion. The result of this successful leadership will be the engagement and empowerment of the team in meeting the business objectives for HiRel.
- Resolve highly complex development, manufacturing, procedural, and system issues by involving experts through strong leadership, promotion of structured problem-solving techniques, and timely decisions. Your Profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
- BS degree or higher in Engineering or Materials Science.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in semiconductor test engineering processes, with hands-on experience leading new product integration.
- Thorough industry knowledge and experience in semiconductor test engineering across a wide range of automated test equipment (ATE) such as Teradyne, Advantest, etc.
- Strong understanding of Design for Test (DFT) and the requirements needed to test semiconductors thoroughly and efficiently.
- Experience designing test hardware for factory test solutions, as well as boards needed for test experiments and device characterization.
- Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication, reporting, and presentation skills.
- An advocate for change and continuous improvement; able to navigate and lead teams through change execution.
- Strong multitasking and prioritization skills, and effective in defining and meeting ambitious, stretch goals; experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic NPI environment.
