0-2 years of relevant experience About the Opportunity We are seeking an Analog Designer 1 to join the engineering team of a leading semiconductor company. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career electrical/computer engineer to gain hands-on experience in analog circuit design, standard-cell development, SPICE simulation and circuit characterization . What You'll Do- Design and verify standard-cell schematics.
- Port existing schematics into new technology/process nodes.
- Create new schematics to support new functionality requirements.
- Run SPICE simulations to evaluate circuit performance and robustness.
- Perform Monte Carlo simulations and PVT analysis.
- Characterize standard-cell libraries using industry-standard tools.
- Simulate circuits involving: Transmitters Receivers
CTLE / DFE DLL DAC
Operational Amplifiers Comparators Voltage Regulators- Develop and document effective design and simulation methodologies.
- Support IO and system integration activities.
- Work with signaling/equalization techniques, signal integrity and power integrity.
- When required, review or understand RTL/Firmware supporting custom circuit implementations. What We're Looking For Required / Preferred Skills
- 0-2 years of relevant engineering experience.
- Experience with analog schematic/circuit design.
- Experience with SPICE or equivalent circuit simulation tools.
- Exposure to standard-cell characterization.
- Understanding of Monte Carlo simulation and PVT/corner analysis.
- Knowledge of analog/mixed-signal circuit fundamentals.
- Familiarity with IO, signaling, equalization, signal integrity or power integrity is a plus.
- Exposure to Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre, HSPICE, Synopsys or similar industry-standard tools is highly desirable.
- Ability to understand basic RTL or firmware supporting custom circuit implementations is a plus. Education Bachelor's, Master's or PhD in:
- Electrical Engineering
- Computer Engineering
