Job Description
PCB Designer
PCB Designer opportunity with a client in the satellite communications and aerospace technology industry.
- 6+ month contract with strong likelihood of conversion to FTE
- Onsite in
Germantown, MDKey Responsibilities:
- Design and develop complex multilayer printed circuit boards for satellite communication products
- Create PCB layouts while collaborating closely with electrical, RF, mechanical, and manufacturing teams
- Support board bring-up, testing, validation, and production readiness activities
- Drive design optimization for signal integrity, manufacturability, reliability, and cost
- Participate in design reviews and support product development from concept through production
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of PCB design experience
- Proficiency with PCB design tools such as Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, Mentor Graphics, or similar
- Experience with multilayer board layouts, component placement, and routing
- Familiarity with high-speed digital, RF, power, or mixed-signal designs
- Knowledge of PCB fabrication, assembly processes, DFM/DFT, and industry standards
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary engineering teams
