Job Description

FPGA designer Greenbelt, MD AKAT Corp is looking for a highly qualified FPGA designer to perform HDL design, development, and testing of on-board science data processing FPGA Cores for NASA projects.
Experience Requirements:
In-depth knowledge of HDL development and testing, implementing algorithms in
HDL, HDL
simulation, timing analysis tools, synthesis tools, place and route tools, back-annotated timing analysis, in the lab testing of FPGA designs Experience working with embedded systems and developing FPGA cores that interface to embedded processors Experience developing FPGA designs for Flight hardware Familiarity with Xilinx FPGA and Microsemi tools and Multi-Gigabit transceivers Must be a US citizen or a US Permanent Residence with ability to pass a Government background investigation.
