Job Description The engineer will act as primary technical interface to the internal product component managers supporting EMC testing for new designs of the brake system electronic control units (ECUs), working on EMC test setups and actively investigate EMC improvements to drive a more robust design and as electronic. Will also work as hardware development engineer of the ECU including circuit development, design verification and compilation of technical manufacturing documentation. Prepare and moderate technical customer discussions and presentations regarding EMC test plans and reports, ECU hardware development, technical specifications, and creation of additional test plans to guarantee that the ECU meets the customer specification. Design ECUs to meet the specification, prepare thorough documentation of development investigations and conduct worst-case design reviews on safety critical input and output circuitry. Actively participate in the negotiation of specifications within Bosch to guarantee an optimized design. Process the customer requests for quote (RFQ) for the ECU. Manage the overall component project from quoting through production and beyond (including, but not limited to project timeline maintenance, coordination and release of samples and production documentation, validation test negotiation and coordination). You will work with entire project team to ensure requirements are met regarding the ECU component within overall system. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline 3-5 years of experience in EMC testing, circuit design and/or requirements analysis for electronic hardware projects Full life cycle hardware development experience for automotive electronics products Experience working on a global, cross functional project Experience with DFMEA, PFMEA, and DRBFM processes and practices Familiarity with worst-case circuit design/calculations practices. Excellent organization and communication skills High attention to detail, accountability and ownership Flexible to assist with other tasks as assigned
